Free Carpal Tunnel Brace Project Announces 5000 Braces Given Away To Date

By: PRLog
Dr. Michael Politis, the sponsor and sole benefactor of the Free Carpal Tunnel Brace Project announced today that his community care project has just given away its 5000th micro-soft carpal tunnel brace. Dr. Politis’s announcement was made by way of a passing remark during a conference call with executives and other board members of Carpal Pain Solutions Inc., a Florida based medical device company; Dr. Politis is on the board of directors and also a member of the scientific advisory.
PRLog - June 5, 2015 - PALM CITY, Fla. -- Ms. Nicole Zanakis, CEO of Carpal Pain Solutions, Inc., manufacturer and distributor of the patented Carpal Rx myofascial release massager for carpal tunnel syndrome and the Micro-Soft Carpal Tunnel Brace, who was on the conference call stated, “Dr. Politis is so unassuming and he really does not care about money at all. Somebody on the call asked him how his brace project was coming along and he casually replied that the project had just sent out its five thousandth brace; like it was no big deal.” Ms. Zanakis added, “His only regrets are that he doesn’t have more funds to devote to the project and most people don’t know about the free braces because he cannot pay for professionally marketing the website.”

Immediately following the conclusion of the conference call Ms. Zanakis directed the Carpal Rx marketers to devote a few hours per week to market the Free Carpal Tunnel Brace Project’s website. Carpal Pain Solutions Inc. already provides and maintains the project’s website. The company will also increase the amount donated to Dr. Politis’s project from the retail sale of every Micro-Soft Carpal Tunnel Brace.

Dr. Michael J. Politis has a Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology and Medical Physiology. Dr. Politis has numerous publications in leading neurological journals. His decades of research span the fields of neurosurgery, neurophysiology, and neuropharmacology. Dr. Politis is an expert in medical device research & development and over a long career has been instrumental in developing techniques for treating spinal cord injury and nerve damage. In addition to his medical degrees Dr. Politis is also a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.

The Free Carpal Tunnel Brace Project was started by Dr. Politis due to what he discovered during the course of the Carpal Rx development and the designing and development of the Micro-Soft Carpal Tunnel Brace. It was during this period the doctor saw how flimsy the braces are for carpal tunnel syndrome and wrist tendonitis, being sold by the large drugstore chains and outlets like Walmart. Dr. Politis is concerned about the consumers who have been marketed into believing that the cheap braces being sold will give them the proper support needed for pain management of carpal tunnel syndrome, when in fact these mass market braces may further damage an already painful and incurable condition.

To add insult to injury the mass market brace manufactures make numerous braces for carpal tunnel syndrome in a wide range of prices. What Dr. Politis questions is, “Why do brace manufacturers make one cheap flimsy brace for carpal tunnel syndrome and sell it to Walgreens that retails it for fourteen dollars, then make six more expensive braces that are retailed between twenty-five to over one hundred dollars; if the fourteen dollar Walgreens brace doesn’t give proper support then why are they selling it?”

The Micro-Soft Carpal Tunnel Brace was featured at the 2015 meeting of the Southern Orthopaedic Association and is the first and only brace designed by research doctors and orthopedic manufacturing engineers specifically for carpal tunnel syndrome and wrist tendonitis and can be used on either hand.
