Unpaid internships legal when they boost interns' learning, US court rules

July 2 (Reuters) - Unpaid internships are legal when they are closely tied to interns' educations, a U.S. appeals court in Manhattan said on Thursday in reversing decisions that Fox Searchlight Pictures Inc and The Hearst Corp broke the law by not paying interns.
