Netanyahu opposition likely to scupper Israeli telecom merger

JERUSALEM, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday he was against a planned merger between mobile phone operator Cellcom and smaller rival Golan Telecom, strengthening political opposition that threatens the deal.
