WASHINGTON, VA, February 13, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who announces the recognition of Soren Jones as an Executive of the Year as a result of his phenomenal 25 plus year military career. In his position as a Colonel in the United States Air Force, as well as throughout his entire occupational history, Colonel Jones has consistently performed at an extraordinary level while displaying the leadership and professionalism required to be considered among the elite.
Soren has ascended to the pinnacle of his profession as a result of his determination as well as through the demonstration of his exceptional work ethic, combined with his extensive knowledge and magnificent management skills. Due to his spectacular leadership skills, he also serves as Chief of the Recon Operations Division at the Joint Staff in Washington DC. Colonel Jones was commissioned through the Air Force Officer’s Training Program in January 1986. He went on to earn his pilot rating and wings at Columbus AFB, Mississippi. Col Jones is a command pilot and has flown multiple reconnaissance aircrafts including the RC-135 and U-2. He has also served in command positions at the squadron and group level
During his academic career, Colonel Jones earned a Bachelors’ degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University. He also earned a Master’s degree in Military Arts and Services focusing on military space operations from the United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and is a graduate of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Defense College in Rome, Italy.
