U.S. Economic Reports Offer Stocks a Boost

June 27, 2012 U.S. equities finished higher today, receiving a boost from some much-needed positive economic data. Durable goods orders increased by a greater amount than economists were expecting and pending home sales indicated that the worst might be over in the housing market.
