RE:    Actavis + Allergan Integration Kickoff Meeting

Earlier this week, more than 100 Actavis and Allergan senior leaders and representatives from key regions and business functions joined together to participate in a unique Integration Kick-off meeting. During the two-day meeting, employees from both companies worked together to begin planning the exciting process of combining our two companies to build the leading company in Growth Pharma.

The meeting was designed as a forum for all involved to share information, ask questions, challenge each other, identify opportunities, and highlight transformative approaches that will enable us to continue to innovate, support research and development, and serve our customers. The agenda consisted of large group meetings and smaller, functional workshops which provided platforms to discuss how our organization will potentially be structured, identify interdependencies and risks for implementing and executing our Day 1 integration plans, and begin the process of developing the work plans that will need to be in place to operate as one company upon the close of the transaction. During the meeting, we were specifically impressed by the commitment of the participants and the exceptional enthusiasm for building an exciting future for our companies and our employees.

As we enter the holidays, it is our hope that all Actavis and Allergan employees will take this time to recharge and spend time with family and friends. We recognize that this has been a challenging year for employees of both companies and we would like to offer our sincere thanks for all you have done to remain focused and exceed the expectations of our customers by providing the highest quality products and services.

As we look ahead to 2015, we know that we have a lot of hard work to do. While we continue our integration planning, until closing, we must operate as separate companies, focused on continuing to grow our respective businesses and delivering strong financial results to our respective shareholders. We understand that the integration process can bring uncertainty and many questions and we are committed to keeping you informed as our planning progresses during the next few months. Thank you again for all that you have done and for all that you will do as we work together to create a great company with an exceptional future for our customers, their patients, our employees and our shareholders.
