Gulf of Mexico oil spill's lessons learned

It’s been two weeks since a fatal explosion and fire sank an oil rig in mile-deep waters off the coast of Louisiana, but it may take years to sort out the consequences that this chain of tragic events will have on the U.S. drilling industry. Herewith some lessons learned, albeit the hard way.
