Ford to Spend $850 Million to Overhaul Michigan Plants

Ford Motor ( F ) plans to spend $850 million during the next three years to improve and expand plants in Michigan that will result in in 1,200 new full-time jobs, the automaker said Monday. The capital improvements are part of the company's plan to upgrade its facilities in the state, increase the number of employees involved in engineering and manufacturing and further improve vehicle fuel economy,...
