US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St opens higher on M&A, earnings

NEW YORK, Nov 9 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks opened slightly higher on Tuesday as deal activity and corporate earnings helped to underscore optimism after a recent rally that drove indexes to two-year highs.
