US STOCKS-Wall St cuts early gains as consumer data worsens

NEW YORK, July 15 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks cut gains on Friday after U.S. consumer sentiment fell in July to its lowest level since March 2009 and investors tried to gauge the results of European bank stress test due later in the day.
