SEC official suggests new label for leveraged ETFs

The nation’s top watchdog for the multi-trillion dollar asset management industry on Wednesday said serious consideration should be given to a suggestion that exchange-traded-funds that are leveraged and employ derivatives should be labeled as something other than ETFs.
