Statoil gets nearly 88 pct of Brigham in bid

OSLO, Dec 1 (Reuters) - Statoil has been tendered more than 87.7 percent of the outstanding shares of Brigham Exploration, giving the Norwegian company a boost in its efforts to expand its unconventional energy resources in the United States.
