Reported Facebook IPO role lifts Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley shares post a better than 2% gain early Wednesday and helps lead financial stocks higher after various media reports said that the firm had won the coveted role as lead underwriter of Facebook’s anticipated IPO.
