The Wall Street Journal reported that China will more than double its solar capacity this year. Shares of Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. (NYSE: STP) added 18 cents to close at $1.66, Trina Solar Ltd. (NYSE: TSL) climbed 49 cents to close at $5.20, Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (NYSE: YGE) rose 23 cents to close at $2.84 and LDK Solar Co. Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) gained 16 cents to close at $2.06.
