The Justice Department is preparing to sue The McGraw-Hill Companies Inc. (NYSE: MHP) unit Standard & Poor's for its 2007 mortgage bond ratings. Shares of fellow ratings agency Moody's Corp. (NYSE: MCO) plunged $5.90 to close at $49.45 on the news. McGraw-Hill stock plummeted $8.04 to close at $50.30.
