China June CPI Rises 2.7%

China's consumer prices increased in June, the National Bureau of Statistics reported. China's consumer price index rose 2.7% y/y, versus a 2.1% gain in May. However, economists were expecting a 2.5% rise. On a monthly basis, the country's consumer prices came in flat in June, versus a 0.6% decline in May.
