PRLog - Dec. 9, 2013 - BALTIMORE -- Mobile Data Shredding, Inc. would like to announce its acquisition by Records Management Solutions, Inc.. This announcement follows the official acquisition on November 15, where RMS made an asset purchase of MDS, combining both companies under RMS.
“This acquisition came at the right time for us. RMS is a great fit for Mobile Data Shredding to join. Jim [Scott, President of RMS] has a lot of motivation and he has the people and resources to help our customers with their needs,” says Mike Dodson, President of MDS.
Mobile Data Shredding, Inc. has provided document shredding and hard drive destruction services through the Baltimore metropolitan area as well as New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and more. This acquisition will allow RMS to take on a wider regional range as well as upgrade their current hard drive and media destruction program. Mike Dodson plans to stay on and work with Jim Scott and RMS to ensure the transition will be as smooth as possible.
