The AirWire LTE Wi-Fi dongle (which resembles a flip style mobile phone) provides Internet connectivity via its built-in Wi-Fi hotspot or USB connection. The dongle operates standalone, enabling multiple devices to connect simultaneously. Laptops, gaming consoles, tablets and all other Wi-Fi devices can now access the Internet anywhere through AirWire’s integrated LTE network connectivity. The AirWire LTE Wi-Fi dongle can be connected directly to a computer through the USB port, enabling LTE data speeds of 100 Mbps into a connected device. It supports LTE-TDD, with future versions supporting LTE-FDD. Wi-Fi support covers 802.11 b/g/n, conveniently covering all Wi-Fi devices.

The AirWire Wi-Fi dongle is based on Sequans’ Mont Blanc LTE Platform. Mont Blanc comprises Sequans’ baseband SOC and LTE-optimized transceiver, an integrated network and application CPU, a comprehensive software package, and reference designs. Mont Blanc is a member of Sequans’ StreamrichLTE family of products for high-performance, feature-rich LTE devices.

See the AirWire LTE Wi-Fi dongle at Mobile World Congress, February 24-27, 2014, at Sequans’ stand 7D76 in hall 7.
