Syria's Assad pays Easter visit to recaptured Christian town

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday visited the ancient Christian town of Maaloula recaptured from rebels last week, state media said, a rare appearance outside central Damascus.
