Fed continues to keep low rate as slack persists in economy

Lingjiao Mo, Medill News Service WASHINGTON, July 16 (UPI) -- Fed Chairwoman Janet Yellen said Tuesday the Fed will keep interest rates low because significant slack still persists in the labor market.
