PAR Government Systems Corporation, a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE:PAR), announced that Steven D. Rizzi, Vice President, National Capital Region Operations, was appointed to the Maryland Longitudinal Data Systems Center Governing Board by Maryland State Governor, Martin O’Malley. Mr. Rizzi will join the eleven-member board as a subject matter expert in big data systems, high-speed networks, and information technology.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Rizzi served on the Maryland Task Force on High Speed Network Development, the Maryland Information Technology Board’s Internet Privacy subcommittee and the Maryland Technology Development Corporation’s Hometeam Committee which focuses on establishing pro-growth policies for business in Maryland.
