Statoil makes offshore sale to Wintershall

Daniel J. Graeber STAVANGER, Norway, Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Norwegian energy company Statoil sold off some of its assets on the Norwegian continental shelf to its German counterpart, Wintershall, for $1.25 billion.
