Clubhouse to add chic and elegance to prestigious Southern California Coastal Town
PRLog - Oct. 3, 2014 - LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Newport Beach Country Club construction is underway. Kevin Martin and Todd Pickup, the principals of the Newport Beach Country Club unveil the plans for a brand new clubhouse with enhanced member amenities.
The interiors are designed by the Interior Design Firm - Kay Lang + Associates of Los Angeles, California. Architects for the project are Melzer, Deckert & Ruder Architects, Inc. of Irvine, California.
This 50,000 square foot new-build facility is located in the heart of Newport Beach on a private golf course with prime ocean views hosting international tournaments including the annual Toshiba Classic. It is scheduled to open in late 2015.
“The architectural and interior vocabulary and style will feature a warm casual and comfortable two story coastal craftsman interiors featuring state of the art facilities” said Kay Lang, President & CEO of Kay Lang + Associates. The main lobby will reflect casual elegance in a comfortable and relaxing setting surrounded by warm and inviting modern craftsman details, soaring windows with ocean views and a grand staircase leading patrons to the main signature bar and grill seating 150 with vistas onto the golf course. The exhibition kitchen and pizza bar will provide gourmet dining at its best including feature wine displays and a private dining room for 12. The expansive terraces will also include indoor/ outdoor bar seating, fire pits, flexible seating for various functions. The new pool facility next to the clubhouse will feature a 75 ft. length lap pool and a kid friendly swimming zone. The color palette is modeled after the sea breeze and warm sand, with medium to light woods. The facility will include 500 men’s, 250 women’s locker rooms, spa, fitness with cardio center, pro shop, private member lounge areas and a boardroom. The 6700 sq. ft. banquet facilities will host events, including weddings in the main ballroom which will accommodate up to 300 guests. The operable walls of the banquet facilities will allow expanding functions to ocean view terraces.
