Good Times Announces Opening of New Good Times Restaurant in Highlands Ranch Colorado

Good Times Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: GTIM), operator of Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard, a regional quick service restaurant chain focused on fresh, high quality, all natural products and a licensee of Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, a full service, upscale concept, today announced that it opened a new Good Times Burgers & Frozen Custard in Highlands Ranch on Friday, November 21, 2014.

“We have wanted to be in this trade area for many years and we had the opportunity to take over an older Burger King restaurant and completely renovate it with a new interior design that we anticipate will be the template for remodeling our older dining room stores as well as for additional new stores in the Colorado market,” said Boyd Hoback, President and CEO. “Highlands Ranch is a perfect fit for our concept with upscale demographics and customers that appreciate our commitment to fresh, handcrafted, all natural products. Our closest Good Times is almost five miles away from this trade area so it has been underserved for a long time, as evidenced by our exceptional opening week’s sales volume,” Hoback added.

The Company reported that the restaurant incorporates more “upscale” finishes such as whitewashed barnwood, stained concrete floors, industrial metals and lighting and natural woods with design features that reflect Good Times’ brand position around “taking a better food stand.”

The Company also reported that it has another Good Times restaurant under development scheduled to open in the spring of 2015 at The Shops at Arapahoe Commons and one Bad Daddy’s restaurant under development in the Southlands shopping center that is expected to open in early January 2015. Hoback added, “The Good Times brand continues to grow and perform very well so we are trying to access as many sites as we can in Colorado as we evaluate the possibilities for out-of-market expansion. We also have several leases in various stages of development for additional Bad Daddy’s along the front-range of Colorado.”
