Sam’s Club Launches First Retail Travel App for On-The-Go Savings

Sam’s Club today announced availability of a new, free Sam’s Club Travel mobile application exclusively dedicated to members-only savings on hotels, rental cars, vacation homes, and other travel activities. Sam’s Club is the first mass market retailer to offer members a mobile app exclusively dedicated to leisure and business travel needs.

The Sam’s Club Travel app, available to download for phones and tablets through iOS App Store and Google Play, presents members with:

  • Comprehensive Inventory: Book more than 40,000 hotels and 10,000 activities in more than 4,500 cities; vacation homes, flights and more than 18 car rental brands with 25,000 pick-up locations worldwide.
  • Faster Booking: Each travel product can be quickly and conveniently booked using a card-imaging feature that auto-populates card information.
  • Easy Access to Reservations
  • 24/7 Member Support online and through the Sam’s Club Travel Call Center at 1-855-680-6663, which supports travel changes, cancellations due to weather and more.
  • Global Adaptability: Change the app language, theme and currency

Based on 2014 eMarketer research on U.S. consumers’ digital travel booking habits2, many of the 26 million Americans booking travel digitally bundle their travel apps, including airlines, rental car companies, hotels and aggregator services like Sam’s Club Travel, on their phones and tablets.
