USS Ponce: Navy tests laser weapon in Persian Gulf

Danielle Haynes WASHINGTON, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- The U.S. Navy on Wednesday announced it successfully tested its first laser weapon aboard the USS Ponce in the Persian Gulf.
