PCTEL Announces Five (5) Year Warranty

PCTEL, Inc. (NASDAQ: PCTI), a leader in Performance Critical Telecom solutions, announced today an industry-leading five (5) year warranty for its SeeGull flex scanning receivers and select GPS, broadband wireless, and other base station antennas. The warranty applies to products shipped on or after January 1, 2015. Numerous wireless industry participants, including antenna distributors, value-added resellers, global wireless carriers, and test and measurement equipment providers will benefit from this unprecedented warranty.

SeeGull scanning receivers from PCTEL RF Solutions are used for in-building and drive test applications. The SeeGull flex line is software-definable and field-upgradable, and it supports all major cellular technologies. The EXflex features an extra-wide band range of 150 MHz to 6 GHz. The IBflex supports cellular bands from 570 MHz to 3.8 GHz in addition to Wi-Fi measurements. Its hot swap battery system, Bluetooth® connectivity, and small form factor make it ideal for indoor walk tests.

PCTEL base station antennas provide exceptional durability and performance in voice, data, and network timing applications. PCTEL antennas eligible for the five-year warranty include PCTEL’s GPS timing antennas, Bluewave™ and BMOY series yagi antennas, parabolic antennas, MLPV series low profile antennas, and select broadband wireless antennas. These antennas have been deployed in a variety of public and private networks, including Tier 1 cellular carrier networks, positive train control systems, campus Wi-Fi networks, and industrial automation systems.
