Statoil closer to major field development

Daniel J. Graeber STAVANGER, Norway, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Norwegian energy company Statoil said Wednesday it signed a $588 million engineering contract for the development of the giant North Sea field, Johan Sverdrup.
