Gatekeeper Announces AGM Results

ABBOTSFORD, BC / ACCESSWIRE / June 1, 2015 / Gatekeeper Systems Inc. ("Gatekeeper" or the "Company") (TSX.V: GSI; OTC: GKPRF) is pleased to announce that the shareholders' of the Company approved all matters at its annual general meeting held on May 28, 2015, including:

  • -Setting the number of directors at five;

    -The election of Douglas Dyment, Larry Campbell, Jonathan Jackson, Daniel Brennan, and Robert Galbraith as directors of the Company for the ensuing year;

    -The re-adoption and re-approval of the Company's rolling stock option plan in accordance with the requirements of the TSX Venture Exchange; and

    - appointment of Deloitte LLP as auditor of the Company for the ensuing year.

Daniel Brennan has over 30 years' experience within the information technology industry, including President, Information Systems Division, of Business Records Corporation ("BRC"), a NASDAQ listed company. During his ten-year tenure at BRC, Mr. Brennan was instrumental in increasing revenues from $40 million to $250 million, resulting in an increase in share price from $8 per share to $40 per share, at the time of his departure.

At BRC, Mr. Brennan was responsible for application software, transaction processing systems, election tabulation and reporting systems, and outsourcing services for city and county applications. He also organized a national sales force of 120 specializing in local government applications and assisted in building the Elections Division into the largest elections company in the world. He has an MBA in Management Information Systems.

Robert Galbraith is a retired Senior Officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police where he served a 24-year tenure from 1955 to 1979 in a range of capacities, including Policeman, Operations Research at the RCMP Headquarters in Ottawa, Deputy Chief of Police for Burnaby, British Columbia, the Chief of Police for Langley, British Columbia, and finally the Chief of Police for the combined City of Port Coquitlam and the Coquitlam District Municipality, British Columbia.

Mr. Galbraith co-founded Silent Witness Enterprises Ltd. ("Silent Witness"), which became a public company in 1987. Silent Witness was originally focused on a 'black-box' data recorder for motor vehicles. In 1991 Mr. Galbraith was appointed as the new President, and within one year he changed the direction of the company into the mobile video market. Silent Witness was eventually sold to Honeywell for approximately $60 million.

Mr. Galbraith has since focused his attention on U.S. Politics and U.S. Police and Government actions relating to preventative measures to reduce injuries to the public - matters that Gatekeeper is vitally involved in with their stop-arm camera and Police body-camera products.
