ACI Bolsters Board of Directors with New Appointments

ACI Worldwide (NASDAQ: ACIW), a leading global provider of electronic payment and banking solutions, announced today the appointments of Charles Peters, Jr., Adalio Sanchez and Thomas Warsop, III to its Board of Directors. They join recently elected Board Chairman David Poe. These directors replace Harlan Seymour, John Curtis and John Stokely, who have retired.

Peters currently serves as executive vice president and CFO at Red Hat (NYSE: RHT), a multi-national global leader in open-source software. Prior to Red Hat, he served as CFO of Burlington Industries (NYSE: BUR). Previously, he held senior executive roles at Boston Edison Company and GenRad.

Sanchez most recently served as senior vice president at Lenovo Group Limited (HK:0992), an international PC technology company. Prior to Lenovo, he spent the better part of three decades at IBM (NYSE: IBM), including sixteen years in senior executive and global general management roles.

Warsop currently serves as president and CEO at The Warranty Group, Inc., a provider of insurance and insurance services. Prior to The Warranty Group, he served as group president and held various management positions at Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a provider of technology solutions to the financial world. Previously, he spent nearly eighteen years at Electronic Data Systems, most recently as president of EDS’ Financial Services Industry Group.

“Charlie, Adalio and Tom are tremendous additions to the ACI board, bringing extensive track records of leadership success,” said Philip Heasley, president and CEO, ACI Worldwide. “While we appreciate the work of their predecessors—Harlan Seymour, John Curtis and John Stokely—each of whom made valuable contributions to our board, Charlie, Tom and Adalio possess decades of industry experience that will help us to further strengthen our market-leading Universal Payments family of solutions now and well into the future.”
