U.S. EPA says "likely" recall of VW diesel cars

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct 1 (Reuters) - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said on Thursday that a recall of affected Volkswagen < diesel cars in the ongoing emissions scandal would "likely" take place.
