STREETSBORO, Ohio - April 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Streetsboro community members will once again be treated to four days of free concerts, rides, games, a beer garden, food, fun, and much more as the annual Streetsboro Family Days returns to town July 28-31, taking place at the Streetsboro City Park. Attendees will also have a chance to win a 2016 Kia Forte LX two-year lease from Kia of Streetsboro.
For many years, Streetsboro Family Days has brought residents together to share in a celebration of Streetsboro's many outstanding qualities as they build community spirit, foster civic pride, and celebrate together as friends and neighbors.
Through the generous sponsorship of local businesses, nonprofit groups, residents, and other entities, Streetsboro Family Days returns once more with a lineup of exciting recording artists and various community events, including a Car and Bike Show, Dog Show, 5K Memorial Run/Walk, rides by The "Big O" Amusement Co., and much more. Attendees will also enjoy fireworks, vendors, and entertainment.
The random drawing for the new Kia Forte LX giveaway will take place Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 5 p.m. Tickets for the drawing are $5 each and can be purchased from any Streetsboro Family Days board member, partner, or volunteer (see event website for a complete list). Proceeds from the giveaway will benefit Streetsboro Family Days. Tickets can be purchased from March 14, 2016 until the time of the drawing.
Parking at the event is $4 per car, but admission to the festival is free. Wristbands to enjoy the rides are $15 each and are valid for the entire purchase day.
The festival will open Thursday, July 28, at 4 p.m. with the opening ceremony: "A Tribute to American Patriotism and First Responders." Local and state dignitaries will take part in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will be followed by a flag-raising ceremony conducted by Streetsboro's American Legion Post 685 and VFW Post 9716. The National Anthem will then be sung by Christian recording artist Amanda Joy Hall.
