8z President and CEO Lane Hornung commented about the results, "We ended 2015 with 30 new Realtors, with many of those new recruits coming from industries outside of real estate. I believe, and the survey results support it, that we're heading in the right direction with recruiting, training, and ultimately fulfilling our mission to fix real estate."
Since last year's survey, 8z Real Estate has created additional training and support for their Realtors including 8z Academy, a seven-day training program that educates them how to use the 8z systems and marketing programs that are already in place, along with adding structure to the mentoring program provided by 8z Team Leaders.
The Top Workplaces are ranked based on employee feedback in a 22-question survey. While workplace perks are considered, The Denver Post writes that top companies make their employees "feel appreciated and that they were part of something meaningful. They put a premium on clear communication that allowed them to understand their missions and to do their jobs well."
As one 8z Realtor anonymously responded in the survey, "It's a positive experience on every level. Not only do I love what I do, but I'm surrounded by colleagues that feel the same and everyone is encouraging each other to be their best. We're collectively helping each other raise the bar in real estate. Plus it's great to be part of a brokerage that is competing with the big establishments. I like being the underdog that wins!"
The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. The Denver Post published the complete list of Top Workplaces on April 10, 2016.
