Perk.com Inc. Adds Perk Points as Payment Method on the SuperRewards Platform

Perk.com Inc. (TSX:PER) (“Perk” or the “Company”) a leading cloud-based mobile rewards platform provider, today announces that Perk Points will now be accepted as an alternative payment option by over 49,000 apps and games in over 190 countries and territories using the SuperRewards platform. This new redemption option is offered alongside Perk’s current rewards, including gift cards, cash, and Perk Plastik, a reloadable debit card.

Perk Points are a currency earned by millions of Perk users through using Perk apps for entertainment, shopping, search, trivia, and more. In addition to widening redemption options for Perk users, this introduces Perk Points to a worldwide audience of people looking to pay for virtual goods through alternative payment sources.

Ted Hastings, Chief Executive Officer of Perk.com, says, “In the payments industry, one of the most important developments of the 21st century is that people are able to make purchases with their time and attention rather than with physical money. Perk is a major player in the worldwide attention economy, and our users will now be able to redeem Perk Points in thousands of new ways. Using Perk Points as an accepted payment form on the SuperRewards platform increases the Company’s exposure worldwide and brings us one step closer to becoming the undisputed leader in alternative payments.”

Lyal Avery, Co-Chief Executive Officer of SuperRewards, says, “We are excited to offer Perk Points as an alternative payment method. By adding Perk Points to our roster, we are expanding upon one of our core objectives: to make it easy for publishers to let their users pay how they want for virtual goods."

Online shoppers and gamers can now use Perk Points to pay for virtual goods at SuperRewards’ merchant and game partners. For those interested in accepting Perk Points as an alternative payment option, online merchants and game developers can sign up for Direct Payment by SuperRewards here.
