Arbor Networks to Speak at Infosecurity Europe 2016 in London

Arbor Networks Inc., the security division of NETSCOUT (NASDAQ: NTCT), today announced that it will be speaking at Infosecurity Europe in London this week. Yaroslav Rosomakho, principal consulting engineer for advanced threats, will discuss the vital role that visibility can play in reducing the risk of a serious security incident and how to empower teams to go on the offense.

Yaroslav has over fifteen years of experience in the security consultancy and telecoms markets. His talk, titled “Elementary! How to Investigate Like Sherlock”, will leverage data from Arbor’s Active Threat Level Analysis System (ATLAS) platform – monitoring one third of global internet traffic using anonymized traffic data shared by more than 330 internet service provider customers – to identify trends and highlight how businesses can have the necessary conversations with the board to reduce business risk.

Advanced threats have evolved from advanced malware to highly orchestrated attacks by sophisticated human adversaries, and represent one of the highest forms of enterprise risk. Traditional forms of security are no longer sufficient to defend against these threats and because of this, security teams need to understand how they can protect their organisation.
