U.K. Defense Ministry finalizes laser weapon system contract

Ryan Maass LONDON, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Britain's Ministry of Defense has awarded MBDA and other industry partners a $36 million contract to produce a Laser Directed Energy Weapon demonstrator.
