United Kingdom – Codeduino, a fan site dedicated to everything related to microcontrollers, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi, has just announced the relaunch of its website. The aim of this site is to bring together all the information, projects, tutorials, and news for the maker community. The relaunch has given the site a new look, new tools, and features many Arduino projects from around the world.

“When I started making many years ago, I found that there was no central point for everything Arduino,” said Adam Rogers, the spokesperson for Codeduino. “Of course the official site has loads of information, and you can find projects on sites like GitHub, but a lot of it went over my head. Most of it was just tid-bits of code, or LED blinking tutorials. I launched Codeduino to create a useful resource for beginners to find all the information they could need, and example projects and ideas to try out. It is also useful for veteran makers, with random bits of information and projects that may have been overlooked. With the relaunch, the design of the site has been completely overhauled to be fast, clean and elegant, and in addition, two online tools have been developed for electronic makers.”

Whether one needs some inspiration for their next project or just simply loves looking at the amazing projects the maker community creates, the site features some of the best Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects that can be found from around the world. There are creative projects like music controllers and self-drawing artistic robots; there are wacky and dangerous projects like sentry guns and high-voltage x-ray machines; there are also useful projects like robotics arms and automated garage door openers, plus so much more. The maker community can create incredibly interesting projects when letting loose, and in keeping with the community spirit, many of the Arduino projects featured are open source and the code and schematics are freely available on the web.

The two online tools available on Codeduino include an Ohm’s Law calculator and an LED resistor calculator, both of which are extremely useful, and are needed in most electronics projects. Their tutorial section is full of useful articles, tutorials, and guides that help users get an in-depth understanding of Arduino projects, and making in general. The section also offers in-depth analyses and product reviews on the different prototyping boards on the market; these enable users to make decisions on the board they need to purchase for their projects.
