Before joining Shields Health Solutions, Eric was the President and CEO of EMG Surgical, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Smith & Nephew, Inc. (NYSE: SNN) He was also the Vice President of Sales for the Americas for Smith and Nephew, Inc. Previously, Eric held positions as President and CEO of ERS, Inc. and Vice President of Southeast, Southwest United States, and Latin America for Zimmer, Inc. (NYSE: ZMH) now known as Zimmer Biomet, Inc. (NYSE: ZBH) Eric has also served in sales roles for DePuy Synthes, a division of Johnson & Johnson, and he has served on the Acquisition and Divesture teams of Bristol-Myers Squibb, reporting to the CEO. Currently, Eric is an active member on several advisory boards for medical device companies.

Eric has a B.A. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
