U.S. oil would surge if border-adjusted tax enacted, says Goldman’s Currie

A potential border-adjusted tax in the U.S. would send the price of West Texas Intermediate crude oil skyrocketing and make it around 30% more expensive than oil elsewhere, warns Goldman Sachs’ chief commodity analyst Jeff Currie.
