CORRECTING and REPLACING Praxair Declares Dividend in Third Quarter 2017

As a result of recent NYSE rule changes relating to how ex-dividend dates are determined, the ex-dividend date in the third sentence of the press release dated July 27, 2017, should be September 7, 2017 instead of September 6, 2017.

The board of directors of Praxair, Inc. (NYSE:PX) has declared a quarterly dividend of 78.75 cents per share, unchanged from the previous quarter. The dividend is payable on September 15, 2017, to shareholders of record on September 8, 2017. The ex-dividend date is September 7, 2017.
