CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- PointRoll, Inc., the leading developer of innovative rich media technology solutions that delivers 70 percent of all rich media ad units, today announced the inauguration of its West Coast operations team. Based in Los Angeles, the West Coast team is initially comprised of 30 members and eventually will double in size.
The move means that agencies, advertisers and publishers from Pacific and Mountain Time zones will now have dedicated campaign services, production engineering, quality assurance and publisher services as well as advanced creative and flash technologists for their region. Previously, all of these functions were housed out of PointRoll's suburban Philadelphia location in Conshohocken, where there are more than 100 operations personnel.
"Even as PointRoll empowers companies to connect with and convert audiences with the industry's preeminent rich media technology, we are also committed to providing rich media's best service experience. For us, that means delivering full-service, dedicated campaign and publisher teams to our agency, advertiser and publisher base where they live," said Jason Tafler, Senior Vice President, Global Business Operations and Strategy, PointRoll.
"PointRoll has always worked with us to deliver preeminent campaigns on time and with superior service," said Zach Leary, Interactive Executive Producer, TBWA\Chiat. "The addition of full operations on the West Coast will only further solidify our relationship and enable us to have consistent face time with PointRoll campaign teams - we believe that will mean a more fruitful and efficient collaboration on the groundbreaking convergence of interactive video and rich media we've undertaken."
With this launch, PointRoll also announces the hire of a key operations addition as Yannick Lord has been named its new manager of account services for the West Coast Office. Lord has been appointed to manage account operations and support the launch of successful campaigns as he expands PointRoll's West Coast customer base.
Prior to joining PointRoll, Lord served as the senior account at Eyeblaster, Inc., where he worked closely with its West Coast clients, providing advice, training, and technology support while assisting them through each stage of a campaign.
With more than 130 employees in operations and 200 company-wide, PointRoll is set to deliver approximately 60 billion rich media advertising impressions in 2006 and the most video rich media ad units in the industry - more than 10 billion. In October, PointRoll worked with more than 500 publishers to deliver a record 1,000 rich media campaigns and continues to build strong relationships with the online publishing world.
"These metrics reflect that advertisers understand we're making it easy and effective for them to deploy rich media into their marketing mix," said Chris Saridakis, CEO, PointRoll. "The West Coast operations team builds on our goal to deliver high-quality, sophisticated creative that advertisers and audiences demand and continues to support our commitment to 'Platinum-level' service for all customers."
PointRoll's new team will join existing sales and support personnel in the Los Angeles office. The company also has an office in San Francisco. The new team has already made a positive impact on West Coast agencies, advertisers and publishers.
