Haggerty has joined the firm as a Director in the Labor & Employment Practice Group. Mr. Haggerty has exclusively practiced labor and employment law for more than 25 years. Based in the Pittsburgh office, his practice covers the full range of workplace issues, with emphasis on representing employers in collective bargaining, labor arbitration, and employment litigation and counseling.
Prior to joining Cohen & Grigsby, Mr. Haggerty was a partner and the former firm-wide Department Head of Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Group at Reed Smith LLP, also in Pittsburgh. He received a J.D. from Duquesne University Law School and a B.A. with honors from The Pennsylvania State University. For more than 20 years, Mr. Haggerty has served on the Board of Directors of the Holy Family Institute, a non-profit residential home in Pittsburgh for abused and neglected children.
