Avnet Technology Solutions Unveils the 'Power Premiers' Road Show

Avnet Technology Solutions, an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), is rolling out the red carpet for IBM Power™ Systems with a road show across the U.S. called “Power Premiers.” The Power Premiers, designed to help value-added reseller partners and their customers better understand the benefits of IBM’s Power Systems server platform, will be held on June 3, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. local time in ten cities from coast to coast.

Power Premiers will feature a presentation via satellite from IBM Senior Vice President and Group Executive Bill Zeitler. Zeitler will address attendees on how IBM Power Systems improve system availability, enable virtualization, increase system utilization and reduce energy costs.

Power Premiers will be held in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, and San Mateo, Calif. Following the presentation, partners and their customers will view a private screening of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
