ERF Wireless Completes Marketing Milestone for First Two Quarters

ERF Wireless (OTCBB:ERFW), a leading provider of enterprise-class wireless and broadband products and services, announced today that its ERF Enterprise Network Services Division is wrapping up the banking related trade show portion of its Marketing Plan for the first half of this year as a part of its initiative to continue expanding its growing bank customer footprint beyond the three states where it already has a strong bank network presence.

Debbie Kiewit, Marketing Coordinator for ERF Wireless Enterprise Network Services, remarked, We launched a very aggressive show schedule for the first half of 2008 to prepare for the expansion of our BranchNet, BankNet, and WiNet initiative throughout the country. In addition to participating in annual state conventions and trade shows throughout Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida, weve added more shows to our roster because we realize its time to go beyond the southern part of the country and the most efficient way to accomplish that goal is to participate in state, regional, and national bank shows.

Kiewit went on to note that ERF Wireless attended its first national show in February with a trip to ICBA Tech World which brought in bankers from all over the country, many of whom were hearing the ERF Wireless message for the first time. It was a great way to start introducing our secure wireless networking concept to other areas of the country, said Kiewit. We also participated in Bank World in Hartford, Connecticut, at the end of April where bankers from the Northeast established a whole new audience for us. Weve learned a lot from the addition of these events, primarily that our business model is applicable and bandwidth needs are a commonality among banks in all regions of the country.

Mike Moehle, Executive Vice President of ERF Wireless Enterprise Network Services, commented, Were ready to take this product to a national level and our show schedule this Spring is just the beginning of a very aggressive marketing campaign to achieve that objective. Weve learned over the past two years that the major responsibility of our Sales and Marketing Department is to educate the banking community. All banks understand they need substantially more bandwidth, so its our job to show them how they can do that affordably utilizing ERF Wireless encrypted wireless network components.

Moehle added, In all facets of our job, were educating the banking community. This education has taken place during the several workshops and training sessions weve conducted at conferences over the past six months and it occurs on every sales call we make. In every case, its our responsibility to identify both the banks need and the corresponding solution. One of the major teaching points is the difference between hot spot or WiFi technology and point-to-point wireless technology that can increase the banks Intranet bandwidth geometrically. Once the banker feels comfortable with the breadth and security of ERF Wireless network plan, any preconceived objection to wireless communications starts to dissipate. We saw a real turn-around beginning in the last quarter of 2007 as bankers started seeking us out to discuss our product and listen to our value proposition. That trend is continuing into 2008 and should very shortly start to cause a very positive effect on our bank customer backlog.

R. Greg Smith, CEO of ERF Enterprise Network Services, commented, Our team has worked diligently over the last six months to enhance our strategy to scale the business to a national level. Weve known that the day was fast approaching where we would be deploying multiple projects simultaneously and weve worked hard to make sure that as that day arrives, this heightened level of activity will be all but invisible to our customers. Its ERF Wireless objective that each bank should feel like its our only customer. To that end, weve added personnel over the last six months who bring a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to the table both in terms of RF technology and network integration. The additions are now starting to provide positive dividends as we move from implementing new banks serially into the obvious need to support multiple parallel projects.
