Service providers that are building managed video conferencing services businesses and large enterprises that need the capacity to handle an increasing volume of video calls as their businesses grow will benefit the most from this high-performance blade.

With the increasing demand for video, the requirement for scalable infrastructure to meet future communications needs is growing, said Fredrik Halvorsen, TANDBERG CEO. This new blade now has the ability to support the largest number of HD calls on the market, helping customers scale their enterprises for future growth.

With a groundswell of demand fueled by the delivery of HD video quality, organizations are becoming more dependent on visual communications than ever before, said Ira Weinstein, senior analyst and partner, Wainhouse Research.
