Professional Financial Planners will be on hand Saturday, October 4th, 2008 to provide free financial advice to assist the public with financial literacy and navigating the financial waters during these uncertain economic times. Financial Services include: General Financial Planning, Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, Income Tax Planning, Estate Planning, Insurance Planning, Employee Benefits and other unique financial concerns. This is a free service. All individuals interested in free financial advice encouraged to attend.
The Financial Planning Clinic is the first collaborative effort with the Financial Planning Association-East Bay, City of Oakland Mayor Ronald V. Dellums, Oakland Assemblymember Sandré Swanson, and the California Society of CPAs. “This is a unique opportunity for all individuals, including small business owners to receive thorough, unbiased financial advice to help them attain or remain financially sound during these unprecedented economic times,” says Frank Paré of PF Wealth Management Group and FPA board member. “Now more than ever is the time to become financially literate and we will have professional Certified Financial Planners, CPAs, as well as other financial professionals on hand to provide you with the best support available, free of charge. This is one approach to help our communities become fiscally strong. We encourage everyone to attend.”
