RAIT Financial Trust (NYSE:RAS) (the "Company") announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 6,950,000 common shares at a public offering price of $5.30 per share. The Company has granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,042,500 additional common shares. The offering is expected to close on March 9, 2012.
Deutsche Bank Securities is acting as the sole book-running manager of the offering.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to make investments relating to its business and for general corporate purposes.
