Gold, GLD, Tech, QQQ, and Energy, XLE, all were lagging the general market push into the After Hours. Going into the end of the week I think we might have a tight range, 12.5 points in the SPX, so one’s patience may be tested going into expiration next week. Volatility has been on the move, and while it’s still at a level that is low, around 19-20 on the VIX, the speed of the move from 15 to 20 has been something we have not seen in decades.
