BROS. (2017) is an independent film that was produced and directed by Don Tjernagel with a meager budget of only $5,000 and is set to be released on November 8th, 2017. The fact that a movie has been made with such a slim amount in itself is an amazing accomplishment for the filmmaker working in a community that has no history or experience with filmmaking. Tjernagel was offered $100,000 by the Los Angeles film investor to complete the film in another location but instead chose a lesser amount to shoot in Waterloo, Iowa. "I believe in his abilities, and wanted to utilize his talents in another location that would appreciate his unique vision and work ethic. I am very impressed by what he was able to do with the small amount he was allotted. It is truly remarkable," said Ari Leib.

BROS. (2017) will premiere at the Marcus Crossroads Theatre in Waterloo, Iowa on November 8th, 2017.

"We made a very positive film portraying Waterloo, Iowa. This was very challenging to complete, but I am still happy I did this here. I love this town and the people. I think Waterloo has a chance to become a viable place where a lot of independent films could be made," said Tjernagel.
