Amazon shares get lift from Target rumor

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Amazon.com saw its shares jump Thursday morning to a new high-point for the year, possibly the result of a rumor the company might start selling its popular Kindle e-book reader at retail giant Target later this month.
